What You Will Learn in Our neurofeedback Courses

Our neurofeedback courses vary in depth and focus, catering to beginners seeking foundational knowledge as well as experienced practitioners looking to expand their skills or specialize in specific applications. These courses are typically offered by educational institutions, neurofeedback organizations, or individual practitioners who are certified in neurofeedback training.

1

Fundamentals of Neurofeedback

Introduction to the basic principles of neurofeedback, including the history, theoretical foundations, and neurophysiological basis of brainwave regulation.

2

Neuroanatomy and Brainwave Patterns

Exploration of brain structures and functions relevant to neurofeedback, and identification of different brainwave patterns (e.g., Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma) and their implications for mental health and cognitive function.

3

Technological Aspects

Training on the equipment used in neurofeedback therapy, such as EEG (electroencephalogram) systems, amplifiers, and software for data acquisition and analysis.

4

Protocols and Methodologies

Instruction on specific neurofeedback protocols and methodologies, including traditional approaches and newer techniques like Infraslow xLORETA. This includes understanding how to set up and conduct sessions, interpret data, and adjust protocols based on client responses.

5

Clinical Applications

Practical guidance on applying neurofeedback in clinical settings to address various conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep disorders, and more. This includes case studies, treatment planning, and monitoring progress over time.

6

Ethics and Professional Standards

Discussions on ethical considerations, guidelines for practice, and legal issues related to providing neurofeedback therapy.

7

Hands-on Training and Practicum

Opportunities for hands-on experience through workshops, practicum sessions, and supervised training to develop practical skills in conducting neurofeedback sessions and optimizing treatment outcomes.

Master Neurofeedback Techniques with Our Workshops

ISF1 Bipolar Online Workshop

Our workshop on ISF Bipolar, a two-channel intervention requiring five electrodes, offers a comprehensive blend of didactic and practical training. Participants will learn the OF determination process, equipment usage, and optimal signal processing in the classroom, followed by a week of hands-on practice in optimizing ISF training for clinical practice, with adjustments and next steps discussed on the second day.

ISF2 xLORETA Online Workshop

Our Infraslow xLORETA workshop offers in-depth training on this 19-channel neurofeedback intervention, designed to target and train behavioral networks within the deeper cortical structures. Utilizing the BrainMaster Discovery amplifier, this workshop provides both theoretical and practical insights, though ownership of the amplifier and ISF xLORETA software license is not required to attend.
